Dorset Campaign – Introduction

To get us thinking about design processes, we have been set the task of creating a poster in support of an independent Dorset. In doing this, we will hopefully start questioning our assumptions about audience’s behaviours and what people understand from our designs.

We were then split into groups to have some initial brainstorming of ideas. Towards the end of the seminar, we joined with other groups to feedback on our first thoughts. This proved to be very useful as we tried to over complicate the task by coming up with imagery that many people may not recognise.

In the next few days we plan to discuss our ideas further and use the feedback gained to come up with a more effective solution to this design task.
